James “Jim” Gabrielson is a personal injury lawyer and Managing Partner at Gabrielson Law Offices, LTD. He serves clients throughout Central Minnesota from our law firm’s offices in Sartell and the Brainerd Lakes area. Jim is dedicated to fighting for people and families who have been hurt through no fault of their own, and he’s committed to giving every client the focused representation they deserve.
Jim’s connection to Gabrielson Law Offices runs deep. He first began working at the firm at the age of 15, and, over the years, has developed a thorough understanding of the business from the ground up. After earning his B.S. in Business Economics from the University of St. Thomas, he returned to the firm as office manager. In that capacity, he worked closely alongside his father, founding attorney Stephen Gabrielson, and saw firsthand the difference that skilled representation can make in people’s lives.
Inspired by his experience and a genuine passion for advocacy, Jim made the decision to pursue his law degree. Afterward, he joined the firm as an attorney and was named Partner in January 2021. Today, as Managing Partner, Jim eagerly carries forward the family legacy his father has built—one grounded in trust, personalized service, and a commitment to real results.

When he’s not working, Jim enjoys life in Sartell with his family. An avid outdoorsman, he spends his free time hunting, gardening, and landscaping. He’s also an enthusiastic cook and an active supporter of social and environmental charitable causes. A lifelong baseball fan, Jim played several years of Town Ball amateur baseball before a back injury sidelined him. These days, he channels his competitive spirit into cheering on various Minnesota sports teams. He’s been a loyal St. Cloud State Men’s Hockey season ticket holder for years.
